This past week was a rollercoaster of work. I worked my first shift at the Tavern as a kitchen cook. It was a lot of fun and exciting when all the tickets started coming in. I learned so much about the cooking processes that go on in a place that I knew so well already. Aside from that, I continue working and learning React Native as I transfer the data from my Swift App. It took five days to figure out a problem that was bugging me because I didn’t know how to manipulate data in React Native yet. All of a sudden, everything was gone. I had no idea what happened and I was furious. It took me about an hour to get back to the state I was in. Only an hour. Five days of learning and testing written back out in an hour. It seemed like I didn’t really do that much but learning takes time. But because I learned it well, I was able to repeat the process and fix my problem at the same time.
