One of the final tasks that I have to deal with before finishing my app is the welcome video. In my previous version I created a video that showed the new user what to do and how to use the app. In this version, it feels more professional. After I re-watched the previous video I wasn’t sure if it was clear enough. I have had both opinions from testers where some want the video because it was funny, and others think a tutorial is more professional moving forward. I’m not sure where to place myself because I think having the “organic” feel to my app is part of the fun in the early stage. I made this whole thing by myself, it's as homemade as it gets. While a tutorial is far more practical and far easier to make. As I sit here at the airport, I have decided that making another welcome video is the best way to kickstart the alpha. I’m off to spend a wonderful week on vacation in Montreal. But the work never stops, so it’s time to start planning my next silly video.
