log 133: alpha!
again
Here we are again. Another round of testing Kynetik. This time around I can see how much I have grown and how much my skills as a programmer have developed. This weekend I am going to reach out to my internal testers, a term I learned back from the friends and family test, who will be testing my app for any bugs or errors. These testers are my trusted friends and family who I will ask to test new versions of my app before I release it to the public. After I let the mess around and test out all the new features I will have an ongoing open test. I’ll be reaching out to friends, colleagues, family, and other people who I think would have a good time using my app. My goal is feedback. I want to see what people like and don’t like. Feedback and marketing are now the most crucial step. Now that I have achieved a huge goal, completing the testable version, I need to sit back down and make a new business plan. What are my benchmarks? Where do I want to go with this app while I’m in school? How much time can I or do I want to dedicate to Kynetik while I’m pursuing my doctorate? It’s time to sit down with my business advisor, my dad, and plan out the future. Exciting times!
