log 166: settled
comfort
Halfway into Physical Therapy school I have finally found my groove. I have felt like I’ve settled in and I’ve found people who I can study with to survive the semester. I’ve set up a good environment to learn about PT and also develop my business. In the past week I’ve taken good steps moving forward with the program development team and my logo designer. From my meeting with the developers, who are based in Indonesia, I learned the term “PRD”, which is a Product Requirements Document. This made me think a lot about what I want out of this product. I have to take what I learned from the Kynetik beta and alpha to decide what I want done. Am I going to ask the team to do the exact same thing but better? How do I even know that will work if it didn’t in the beta? I previously wrote about how this team can make everything I want out of my app a reality, but what do I actually want out of it? And more importantly, who am I targeting with this app? Recently, I have been thinking a lot about who is actually going to use my app and how I am going to target them. Maybe the exercise pathway is too difficult and there is an alternative to grab people's attention. Moving forward in the week I have a major exam, but I’ll also be taking the time to review the work agreement with the developers and work with my logo designer. There are lots of decisions to make in the coming week. It may feel overwhelming at times, but there's a sense of comfort in knowing that I have the power to make my own decisions.
