log 180: plan

start

This past week I had my first meeting with my coding team to start them off with developing the next iteration of Kynetik. It’s quite refreshing to meet with a team that knows what they're doing and can help me build a proper product. My personal experience of developing an app was riddled with complications and learning barriers which my team won’t have. We set a general plan for the first two months of development. The first month is going to be focused on design. We want to have a clear foundation for what the app is going to look like, what the brand is going to portray, and the functionalities. The second month is going to be about coding. They’re going to set up what took me two years in a single month. After that, it’s about testing, getting more feedback, and marketing to my target audience. Over my winter break there is going to be a lot of foundational work because I’m switching databases. I’m looking forward to developing my product and applying new knowledge I found in school at the same time.
