log 188: resolutions
new year
Every year I set my new years resolutions to drive my upcoming year in the right direction. This year, I decided on only four goals.
Health. In my previous attempt to become a powerlifter I realized that the sport was just not for me. I hated feeling stiff and slow all the time and I didn’t have time to dedicate myself to training seriously. This year I want to focus on really walking the walk as a coach and showing that my algorithm with Kynetik can work. I’ve set a weight goal and a running goal. I’ve got to be disciplined and dedicated toward my health and making it work alongside my schedule.
School. I had a great first semester where I learned a lot of things. While I did well in terms of grades I’m more pleased that I learned a lot of things that bolstered my creativity and drive toward Kynetik. This next year I want to continue to learn and be inquisitive during and outside of class.
Work. My work with Kynetik seems to never end, and that's a great thing. Now that I have a team working for me and development is progressing fast, I need to work on becoming a proper CEO. I need to learn about accounting and marketing, how to be a leader, how to develop a good product, and a whole lot more. My goal for Kynetik and my business is to have a fully developed app that makes profit by the end of the year.
Being selfish with my time. With so little time to spare for myself I want to be more selfish in 2025. I rarely find the time to relax or do things that I want to do because I’m always so busy. In 2025 I want to make sure that my vacations are my vacations and I get to travel the world. I want to say “no” more when I know saying “yes” isn’t beneficial. Being selfish with my time is how I’m going to grow the most in 2025.
