golf

One of the most challenging sports I’ve ever played is golf. It’s incredible how a tiny little ball can make me so frustrated when it flies all the way to the right. This year one of my goals was to practice my swing game a little more so that the next time I play with my dad I don’t start from scratch. I found time over the weekend to go to the driving range with two friends that are far more experienced than me. Over the course of two hours they helped me focus on my swing and improve two key elements. And oh man, what a huge change. I went from blindly swinging to aiming to dunking the golf ball into a bucket. Two tiny little changes in a complex movement allowed me to focus on the bigger picture. I have to treat Kynetik and all my development like this. Right now, I’m struggling to find the balance between the gaming and scientific portions of my app. But in reality, I’m just missing the practice. I need to just get it done and test the algorithm again. I need to see what works and make little changes to improve how it functions as a whole. There is a ton of work to be done in the upcoming week. I’ve got another meeting with a professor who has more experience training after rehabilitation and a lot of formula development so my project manager can understand the vision of the app better.
