A whole year of pushing myself and my business to the max has come to a brief pause. Summer vacation has begun. It’s only a week before I have to get back to school, but it’s time for me to shut down my brain and have some fun. Karen and I are going to Hawaii so she can finally meet my mom. We have a ton of things planned and I’m so excited for it. I’ve been to Hawaii so many times it started to feel a little mundane. But this time it feels different. I’m going to be there with my girlfriend and we are going to play tourist. We’re going skydiving, snorkeling, and even horseback riding - how random. It’s going to be a well needed rest so that I can come back and really push my business and prepare for my 6 week clinical at the same time.
