log 23: workhorse
short term
Goals, goals, goals. I’ve already written about what the main goals are for my time in San Diego before I move to Paris but it’s going to be the day-to-day that accomplishes those goals. While I don’t want to put too much on my plate I want to have a good routine that promotes productivity and content creation. After a much lacking month of content creation, I am ready to get back on the grind. Filming and editing take up a lot of time that I already don’t have, so I’m going to try my best at posting two food-related videos a week. These food videos are going to be short cooking videos where I make a healthy, whole food-based, protein-abundant meal. Doesn’t matter if I like the video or not, I have to force myself to post it, unless I really mess it up! I will also be keeping a record of all the food that I make so that I can use that in the future of my business. The other videos I will be creating are simple lifting videos so that I can consistently post reels during the week for engagement. With these short videos of my main or accessory lifts during the week, my goal is to post at least 4. Continuing on with the fitness side of things, I’m going to continue a 5x-a-week schedule where I train upper 2x, lower 2x, and cardio/core. Post-lift and shower, I will film the exercise videos for my database, I’d like to get at least 4-5 done per week. For this training cycle, I want to focus more on hypertrophy instead of strength. Just to switch it up a bit for the upcoming summer. After that, it’s the coding grind to get my app on track for alpha testing in the fall. Most of my work will be toward optimizing the database, but I imagine I would also need to update the algorithm at some point. Lastly, the final video that I would like to create daily is a short vlog of all the things I did during the day. The same/similar video every day of me working on my dreams. It would be cool to do something like this but I would have to consider it more before I dedicate time and energy to it. Work aside, I’d like to go out once a week at least (which is a lot for an introvert). This could be spending some time at the beach, trying a new restaurant, or doing some kind of outdoor activity. Although I am determined to be a workhorse and double down on building my dreams. I don’t want to let life pass by too quickly, so I’ll be enjoying the California life too.
