a written memoir
creation and action
It all began in 2018 on a flight to America. Over 13 hours from Singapore to Boston, I created the first model of an artificial personal training coach. Little did I know that four years later, it would become the reason why I wake up in the morning.
This is my ongoing professional journey as an entrepreneur.
log 46: simplicity
There was very little in terms of cooking during my final week in Hawaii. I’m so grateful that I’m able to spontaneously book a flight and show up on my parent's doorstep.
log 45: algorithm
After many hours of coding and recoding, my exercise selection and program algorithm is finally done! Well … in truth, it can never be done, but that's the beauty of it I think.
log 44: 3 Course Meal
My first ever attempt at making a multi-course meal all by myself. Mushroom and ricotta crostini, browned butter sage gnocchi, New York Steak with apple chimichurri.
log 43: updates
This past week I have continued working on my algorithm. I thought it would be much easier to improve upon the foundation I built for myself.
log 42: Braised Short Rib Curry
This recipe is an attempt at fusing two recipes that I cook on the regular, braised short ribs and Japanese curry. The idea is to use the braising liquid as the stock for the curry.
log 41: b-logs
Keeping consistent in posting my build logs has gotten difficult recently. Not because I haven't been working, but because I’ve been working on the same thing for the past week.
log 40: development
Rewriting my algorithm with my previous work as a template and my new skills as tools has been pretty difficult. While I have been able to get a lot of functions to work universally there is still a lot of things I have to learn.
log 39: data
Part of the optimization process also includes refining what I already have. Previously, I had limited amounts of data that my app could query in order to grab the most optimal exercise.
