powerlifting
After my four sessions training with a coach, I realized how much I miss being pushed. Having someone push you and guide you through the process takes away a lot of stress and adds a lot of motivation. I decided to sign up with a friend I’ve had for a long time to begin my powerlifting career. I don’t know how far I want to go with this but I know I want to have something to train for. I have a lot of career goals but don’t have a goal in the gym and it feels like there is an imbalance in my life. I also know that being coached adds valuable perspective on coaching others. I have a gut feeling that it will be great for my career because of how much I am going to learn and have fun, so it’s an easy yes. Looking forward to the next chapter of my athletic career. Let’s see how my 50 year old man knees hold up.
