log 117: updates
growth
This past week of vacation in Montreal I decided to finally put some time into my blog. I’m already 116 posts in and I haven't even customized anything. I figured it was time to actually make it look unique. I updated my about page, the look of my blog, and started a mailing list. Then I had an epiphany. Why not have the mailing list for my recipes go out from my blog? I wanted to send out recipes to my personal training clients but then realized I shouldn’t gate keep. Why not just send them out? It could potentially attract more people into my work which would be a nice side effect. After setting up another pseudo blog I then realized, why not have another one for the workouts my app creates? I’m able to make videos and put them on instagram, then talk about them in more depth on my blog. That’s exactly what I wanted! So, my decision moving forward is to turn my website, previously just a blog, into a more of a portfolio. A place to read my career journey, get recipes I really like, and test workouts generated from my app. A lot of upgrades are happening and I am so excited for them. Time to put in the work while I pack up my life and move to the west to start another adventure. Lots of stuff happening.
