log 150: white coat
ceremony
This past Thursday, August 22, 2024, was a very special day. Normally, I’m not a huge fan of these ceremonies because I never understood what was so important. But over time, as I have grown up, I found that celebration of a new achievement with loved ones is incredibly special. Receiving my Doctor’s white coat in front of my parents is something that I will never forget. I only get to see them twice a year and they flew sixteen hours from Singapore to attend this ceremony. I’m so grateful for their support in all my adventures and the advice they give me along the way. I’m looking forward to this lifelong journey of learning and healing people with the knowledge of Physical Therapy. Normally I am not very emotional in public, but reciting the oath of a Physical Therapist almost brought a tear to my eye.
