This past week went by so fast. There was so much content in school and I was finally able to sit down and code a bit into Kynetik. Starting with school, everything seems to be going well. I understand the content and I’m currently preparing for the first exam of the year. I’m still figuring out a good study strategy but it seems like I’m going to be making a lot of flashcards. My professors all provide the slide decks they use to present during the asynchronous and live sessions so to save time I’ll annotate over them. After the classes I’ll go back and put all the information I think is important into a study guide. After that, I’ll go into Quizlet and make flashcards for those concepts so that I can actually recall what they are. To understand better, I’m going to be discussing the ideas with my classmates. I feel like the best way for me to really see if I understand the material is to talk it out and see if I can teach it to someone. For Kynetik, I was able to code and fix a couple bugs that were persisting throughout the beta version. I plan on releasing an update next weekend after my exam so that I have time to revise and maybe code in one new feature. I knew development was going to be slow so I just need to take it one step at a time. I’m so glad that I’m learning ways to improve my algorithm and method for Kynetik in my classes.
