log 160: risky
progress
With school and exams piling on I’m finding myself with less and less time for development. I previously wrote about my realization about hiring a developer who I can guide in developing specific parts of Kynetik for me. However, after meeting with an owner of a programming agency, I realized that maybe I should just take the leap forward. Originally, I planned to hire one developer for the next few years to slowly progress. But why not just get a team and get the entire app out within a few months? This way I have a project manager that I can convey my thoughts to, and they can accurately translate it into work tasks for their team. I consulted my dad about this and he said it hits all the checkboxes for a good idea. It decreases the time to market, time to monetization, and time to volume (which isn’t super applicable in this case). But with this new thought in mind I just have to consider, is this a good idea? Is Kynetik something that is able to return my investment in the future? Up until now there has been no real inherent risk. This is my first real decision as a businessman.
