gathering
After my first week of tough exams I have to say, I am quite satisfied with myself. This is the first time in my academic career where I am absolutely engrossed in the subjects that I am learning. I can feel my mind expand more and more every day even though this is one of my most difficult endeavors to date. While I rarely have the time to put quantifiable work into Kynetik, I am always thinking about ways to implement my knowledge. This week I finally reached out to one of my professors about the questionnaire at the start of Kynetik. We just finished learning about subjective interviewing and what information we should gather from a patient. I am so interested in learning how I can improve my questions so that it can gather valuable information while still maintaining the users attention. This medium of information gathering is so different compared to what we do in physical therapy settings it will take a bit of finesse. I have to play around with what works and what doesn’t so that I can find the sweet spot in between. Figuring out how to analyze the data gather is going to be a whole different story, but I’ll save that for a later date.
