coaching

Last month I changed my price for the first time on the coaching side of things. I knew I was bound to lose some clients, and that is totally okay. My goal with coaching was to always keep the health and wellness of my clients in mind, and it is even more important because they are my friends and family. To send off those who decided to stop coaching I had a final meeting with them to guide them moving forward. Of course, at any time they are able to reach back out to ask anything and I’ll hopefully have an answer. But for those who stayed, things have been going much better. I found that with such a big increase of course load I had to spend less time coaching and that didn’t feel great. I felt like I haven’t been able to give the same amount as I had in the past and I didn’t want to slack off. With two fewer people and a new system, things are starting to pick up again. On Friday I have everybody fill out a weekly check in so that I can see how they did during the week and if I need to make changes. On Sunday I do all my coaching sending voice notes instead of videos, update programs, and check up on everyone. In this case, less is definitely more. I still check up on everyone throughout the week so that I make sure they do their workouts. But in terms of getting in quality coaching, doing it all on one day has been working out really well for me. I’m planning to start posting instagram stories to find one or two new motivated clients to coach. It’s the best practice for me for all the things I’m learning in school and it’s helping me develop my plans for the future.
