To my surprise, one of my professors wanted to have a meeting with me this week. Dr. Kulig is a very nice and serious professor that has a ton of knowledge in the PT and research field. I introduced her to my app and after finding out that I am an international student she wanted to get to know me more as a person. It felt nice to meet with a professor and chat about where we are from and what kind of things we like to do. She said that with asynchronous work and online resources she feels like she doesn’t get to know who her students are anymore so sometimes she reaches out for a chat. It was super cool of her. I got a lot of cool ideas and advice for what I want to do in the future because she is a big time researcher. One day if I decide to teach I’ll definitely try to be like her. An iron fist, but super nice.
