shirts

Before I left for Montreal I realised that buying a heat press is way cheaper than ordering shirts online. My experience of ordering custom shirts has always been mixed. This time around it definitely let me down. The quality of the prints were terrible. They looked grainy and lacked that pop of color I was going for. I was thoroughly disappointed. Of course, this is when I started getting ads for iron on stickers. These stickers sparked my curiosity and I’m glad it did. Turns out I could buy a heat press and stickers for cheaper than my terrible order. So I did it. I ordered a bunch of sample shirts from different companies and stickers then got to printing. The process is super easy and very rewarding. Making my own merchandise makes me feel like a real entrepreneur somehow, and the print looks fantastic, even after a couple washes. I don’t always have time to print shirts but this testing process is something I love. Using my hands to create a product is just plain fun. Now I’m one step closer to making uniforms for future videos.
