log 61: comfort

This week I finally returned back to Boston for a short time. It feels good to be home. Taking a nap in my own bed has been the best sleep since I drove to California. My time in California was short, but I got a ton of things done. With close to zero distractions I was able to work my ass off for three months. Coming back to Boston feels great because I’ve lived here for college, but there are a ton of distractions here. My favorite reading park, my friends, my brother, and more. I look back to my time West with both happiness and sadness. I’m sad that I won’t get to enjoy the quiet peace for a while. I’ve never gotten so much done in such a short period of time. The location was perfect for me to focus and build. However … it was so boring otherwise. I lived on a mountain away from everything, and everyone. All I did was work. I’m looking forward to being near people and living in a busy city again. 

On the business side of things, I purchased kynetik.com. It was a hefty sum to purchase a domain from someone but it was an important one.
