difficulty

The testing process has been stale. With school keeping me busy and family coming from all over to visit, I haven't had time to work on it. I’ve had some short periods where I was able to do some minor bug fixes and implement some improvements to existing features but no significant changes. I know that right now is the time to just enjoy and learn about food so that I can make bigger and better improvements when I am back in the US. My plan moving forward includes changing the entire language of my app from Swift to React Native. I should have begun coding in React Native but I can only look to the future. It’s more commonly used and it will let me make a cross-platform app between iOS and Android. Additionally, it will be far easier to hire because more people know the React Framework. So, looking forward to 2024 I have a couple of things that I need to do. The first is to restructure the entire app. Take what I have now, improve the existing features, and then port it over to React Native. I am either going to hire someone to do this for me, or learn and do it myself. I could hire, but that means I would have to take time to understand someone else’s logic. If I take the time to learn it and make it again myself with a solid template, it may be more beneficial in the future as a solo coder. Eventually, I would like to hire programmers, but at the current state, I think things are still simple enough for me to do. However, for things like UI/UX, I am going to look into outsourcing, those are out of my skill range. I have been feeling a lot of uncertainty, but I think that's completely normal. As long as I take this time to plan out my specific goals I can hit the ground running in 2024. I would like my alpha test to be far more successful than my friends and family test. I am a little disappointed with how it is going, but I have learned so many lessons which benefits me greater looking toward to future.
