log 71: future

physical therapy

A major development in my career is continuing my education. This past week I submitted my applications to five different physical therapy schools. Now comes the waiting game. I wrote my best essays and had them edited by my sister, who is thankfully a writer. Becoming a physical therapist was never my childhood dream, but now it is a major stepping stone I must take to advance my health science knowledge. Taking the time to learn as much as I can and earn credentials is just as important as having the drive to innovate. The foundational strength I gain from school will translate into whichever job I take after I graduate. From there, I can focus on learning the systems and organization of an established business to further develop my own. During this entire time, I’ll be thinking of ways I can modify manual PT into digital PT, innovating accessibility. I hope my applications show how dedicated I am to advancing the field. Now, I wait.
