a written memoir
creation and action
It all began in 2018 on a flight to America. Over 13 hours from Singapore to Boston, I created the first model of an artificial personal training coach. Little did I know that four years later, it would become the reason why I wake up in the morning.
This is my ongoing professional journey as an entrepreneur.
log 6: simplicity
The hardest problems are always the ones that have simple answers. Early in the week, I was reminded on multiple occasions that simplicity is the king of productivity.
log 5: value of time
Falling back into my routine back in Boston after being free from it feels like a breath of fresh air. After a while of doing the same thing over and over again, it gets a little tedious. For me, it was the daily cycle of gym, code, and cook.
log 4: productivity in paradise
Staying productive while on vacation has to be one of the hardest tasks out there. This year I was lucky enough to spend 3 weeks visiting family in Oahu, Hawaii.
log 3: minimizing maximization
Moving from the planning phase to the action phase is incredibly difficult and somewhat mentally taxing. I imagined it would be much easier, especially while following a detailed plan of attack.
log 2: baby steps
This week was the first week I was able to finally put a tiny amount of progress into making my product, which is an iOS based application. So far I have been learning and planning all my steps so that when I start, I have a concrete plan I can follow.
log 1: the start
Another rotation around the sun has made me realize that I am a builder. Whether it’s physically building a project, creating a silly short-form video for Instagram, or starting a blog, all I want to do is create.
