log 184: semester

complete

After a grueling four months of work with numerous exams, I am finally done with my first semester. I learned so much from the faculty and my peers. Throughout the semester my favorite classes were anatomy and patient management. Coincidentally, they were the most important and toughest classes. Through anatomy I learned the physiological makeup of a human body which was incredible. Patient management taught me about the steps to diagnosing a patient. My biggest takeaway from the semester is that being a good Physical therapist takes patience. Another class I had about motivational interviewing also opened my eyes to being a better coach for my current clients. All the information is helping me build one of the best coaching platforms out there. The semester took time away from development, but I’m glad I stuck with trying to build 1% a day. Some stages of the semester I felt mentally drained and couldn’t work anymore, but with the end I feel rejuvenated. With the next two weeks I get to take a short break while working hard on my app and getting ready for the next semester. It's going to be tough but that's what I signed up for.
