log 208: treatment

patient

I learned a lot in these two weeks of treating patients. My biggest takeaway? Nobody does their home exercise program. I don’t know if they don’t care, don’t remember, don’t think it’s important. The bottom line is that at least 80% of them don’t complete it. The other 20% do and can see noticeable differences. I’m not sure if it's human nature to avoid something good for your health. Weird… because it’s the same with coaching outside of PT. Regardless, it’s great for me. It means there is a market for it. Maybe some sort of app that can help patients run through an HEP? Or maybe an online portal for coaches and PTs? I wonder what that is starting to sound like. My dream for Kynetik. It’s time to put the pedal to the metal.
