log 74: bordeaux

This past weekend I traveled to Bordeaux with two of my good friends from culinary school. We learned so much about wine and had a great time being immersed in the history of such a wonderful city. Learning about wine was so humbling because of how much depth there is to a seemingly simple idea. The aroma, the color, the intensity, and the techniques are so interesting. Having the chance to learn about something that has been around for such a long time makes me want to immerse myself further. I want to take a bigger dive into things that I am interested in. Exercise and cooking. I wonder what kind of techniques I have yet to discover and I wonder how I can expand them to create something with more depth.
