a written memoir
creation and action
It all began in 2018 on a flight to America. Over 13 hours from Singapore to Boston, I created the first model of an artificial personal training coach. Little did I know that four years later, it would become the reason why I wake up in the morning.
This is my ongoing professional journey as an entrepreneur.
log 62: paris
The time comes again to move. Moving to Paris is going to be a tough but welcome change. I haven’t lived outside of the USA since the start of college.
log 61: comfort
This week I finally returned back to Boston for a short time. It feels good to be home.
log 60: next steps
As I continue to prepare for the alpha test amongst friends and family, I need to start thinking about the beta. A well-experienced programmer friend told me, “You just have to keep testing until it’s something people want to use.”
log 59: Lilo
I’m going to miss Lilo while I’m in Paris. She fulfills my quiet life so much. There’s nothing like listening to the sound of the wind while I code as this big oaf lays next to me, snoring.
log 58: forward
Looking and planning ahead can always be a daunting task. On one hand, it’s fun to think about everything I can accomplish. But on the other, a reality check.
log 57: drained
I have put so much time, energy, and effort into the birth of my first app. It started as a thought on a plane ride from Singapore to America back in 2019.
log 56: Kaarage
It’s been a while since I posted a recipe because I have been so busy working on my app. This week I was able to do a little bit of testing in my kitchen where I attempted to infuse ghee with lemongrass, garlic, and Thai chili.
log 55: finishing touches
There are so many things that I want my app to accomplish. In good time, it can. But for the alpha, I need to focus on the main features.
